My second experience with Franklin Barbecue was just as tasty as the first. However, Franklin won the battle the second time, and I had to throw in the towel and take home leftovers.
Hopefully you were able to catch da Gaines in Vegas this week. He was at a conference shaking lots of hands and building many relationships. Chime in something in the comments section if you were fortunate enough to meet him.
Gaines will be in the great state of New York in the near future, so keeps your eyes peeled for a sighting. There may even be a prize given if you snap a cool picture of him and submit it. He sure is the traveling business man, so you really need to be on your toes to make sure you grab a picture of him.
On a side note, Texas dominated Missouri and plays Oklahoma State next weekend. Look for them to continue their dominance in a quest for the National Championship. When Texas is playing their A-game, nobody can beat them.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to witness the costume first hand, but I heard many stories referencing it. Now just imagine the guy in the upper right corner of your screen in a leprechaun costume. I know, beautiful isn’t it?
So this past Christmas, Mr. Gaines Kilpatrick dressed up as Santa and busted out his Michael Jackson moves. Do you realize how difficult it is to dance in a Santa suit? Well Gaines made it seem flawless. I can just imagine how Gaines will be when he’s 70 and still dressing in a Santa suit…
